Memory

I'm working to more actively remember my dreams since the last two nights, I've had very vivid dreams... that I couldn't remember clearly enough to blog about. I know someone from work was in the one night before last, and that's about the only detail I've been able to zero in on. It always frustrates me since I like to remember my dreams and catalog them.

Late! Late!

I had one of my standard dreams last night. I was starting a new semester of college (keep in mind, I graduated three years ago) and didn't know my schedule. I couldn't find it, had no idea what classes I was supposed to be showing up for... Most of the dream is fuzzy, but I remember that part. It's something that comes up pretty often in my dreams. I don't think actually forgetting I'd signed up for a class my first semester of college helps any... lol

Girl Time

Last night I had a dream that I was going with a group of other women on a "girl week" kind of vacation. Most of the women weren't people I know in reality - or at least not that I remember knowing - with the exception of a couple (my boss, Melissa, and one other woman who I couldn't recall once I woke up). In the dream, I knew them all and we did the vacation thing out to a cabin one of them owned every year.

Outside the cabin was a beautiful lake, and myself and another woman realized we didn't have suits. After we painted out the annual canvas (we painted over and repainted a particular canvas as a group every year), we decided to go into town and see a movie and get the few things that some of us had forgotten. Though the trip was planned, the exact departure date had been unexpected or moved up or something, so I had gotten all flustered and forgotten some things. Apparently I wasn't alone. We had just gotten to the really cool theater when I woke up.

Dinner for Breakfast

I can't remember all of my dream last night, but at one point, I went out to an Italian restaurant with my sister and boyfriend. But it was odd because it was first thing in the morning. We had a long, leisurely meal, but then I realized that I was already an hour late to work and got all panicky. Wes said it was no big deal, that my mom was coming to drop me off. I relaxed, and he went off to work. Mom came and we dropped Kathy (my sister) off at school. Then she started driving me to work and I got anxious again because I realized I had no way to get home. She was going to go home, Wes worked too far away to pick me up, and I was freaking out. Then I woke up... I hate it when there's no resolution!

Trains and Sets

This is actually my dream from the night before last, but I didn't remember it until I laid down to sleep last night.

I don't recall the set-up, but Wes and I were on a relatively slow moving train that was winding its way through some kind of movie studio or something. It went slow enough that you could get off and look around if you wanted to, but nobody really did... except Wes. He kept insisting on getting out, walking around, touching things (while I yelled to him from the train to leave the stuff alone). The last set we saw was all ready for filming, and it had been flooded with a few inches of water on the floor for some reason.

And that is officially all I remember.
